Lead Systems Technician
Radnor / King of Prussia, PA Area
Service Radius: Within 75 miles of Bordentown, NJ (80% of projects within 20 miles of Radnor)

We are seeking a dependable, experienced Lead Systems Technician to execute installation and service projects across light commercial and high-end residential environments. This role is ideal for a seasoned field technician who takes pride in clean installs, efficient troubleshooting, and delivering a strong client experience.
This is a hands-on position focused on executing projects properly and independently. While you may work alongside other technicians when needed, this is not a management-track role — it is a senior-level field position for someone who enjoys being in the field and doing the work well.
Our company specializes in security, networking, surveillance, AV, and smart automation systems, with a strong emphasis on security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute installations from rough-in through trim-out and final commissioning
- Install, terminate, and program:
- Security systems
- Electronic locks
- IP surveillance systems
- Structured wiring and network infrastructure
- AV and automation systems
- Security systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve service issues efficiently
- Read and interpret plans, wiring diagrams, and system documentation
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Accurately document work performed and update service logs
- Maintain company vehicle inventory and ensure proper stock levels
- Represent the company professionally in client-facing situations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in low-voltage/security integration
- Strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routers, switches)
- Ability to run projects independently without constant supervision
- Proficient in reading drawings and pulling/terminating wiring accordingly
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Clean background check required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Equipment & Platform Experience (Strong Plus)
- DSC / Qolsys
- Alarm.com
- Axis & IP camera systems
- Lutron lighting control
- Control4 / Crestron
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time position
- Primarily local work in the Suburban Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Flexible schedule based on project demands
- Occasional extended travel within service radius
Physical Requirements
- Climb ladders and work in attics, crawl spaces, and above ceilings
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Use power tools and installation equipment
- Drive between job sites
Compensation & Benefits

$32 – $45 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and technical proficiency
